Airport: H.A.S. Hanandjoeddin Airport (IATA: TJQ) near Tanjung Pandan.
From Jakarta: Direct flights take around 1 hour, typically from Soekarno–Hatta (CGK) or Halim (HLP) depending on airline and schedule.
From other cities: Routes and schedules change; at the time of writing most international guests route via Jakarta (or occasionally other Indonesian hubs) then connect to Belitung.
On arrival: The airport is compact. Transfers to the main beaches on the northwest coast typically take 30–45 minutes by car.

Reaching Bali

Airport: I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in the south.
From abroad: Numerous direct international flights from Asia-Pacific, parts of the Middle East and, seasonally, Europe.
From Jakarta: Flights usually take about 1.5 hours and run frequently.
